14" Magnaflow with 4 cat owners...

How loud is your exhaust inside the cab at regular cruising speed? Is there much drone at normal highway speeds (40-55 mph)? This Friday is my d-day for ordering the muffler, and i am 96% sure i want the 14", not 18". It's a 4.6 liter, btw. Just want a little rumble, but nothing roaring inside.

thanks!

I could barely hear my 11" bodies inside with my 4 cats. You will be just fine.

I can't hear mine good in the cab until i get to around 65ish. Mine is a turndown...don't know if that matters. I think you should be good with the 14".

I had all 4 cats at one time with a 14" di/do maggie and it was almost too quiet for me so i cut off the back cats (the huge murfs) and it still is quiet in the cab but its pretty loud outside. The only drone i ever really notice is when im towing something like a big trailer or a boat and thats only around 70 or 75. imo magnaflow is the way to go if you want some sound but at the same time keepin it decently quiet.

it pretty much all depends where ur exit is at. ive got an 18" oval body and a k&n intake with all 4 cats with a 3" single side exit and its pretty drony inside the cab, and sounds damn good outside. i had a turndown with the same setup and it was terrible...if the exit is out the back its not gonna be as bad as if it were side exit and what not....more tail pipe less drone. corsa and borla are very good mufflers or systems for no drone in the cab..thats what they stride on..

It will be a dual exit out the side with a Harley Davidson style tip...
OK, thanks guys. I think i will be fine with it. Only towed a u-haul up from Florida to Tennessee one time so far in the trucks life. Not much towing...
