Side exiting exhaust (through the body)

I hate (maybe a little strong) exhaust that comes out under the body/bumper. I had seen a ring that could be screwed on to the side of you truck and then a hole cut in the center of the ring so that the exhaust could stick out.

I am trying to find that or pictures of it, but I am coming up with nothing.

Has anyone seen what I am describing? Do you have any URLs or pictures?

Seen this done to a old Dodge truck years ago on Power Blocks show Truckz. Didn't like it much but then again I love the look of dual tips out from under a bumper. Google body exit exhaust.

That's a buddy of mines truck. His exhaust tips go through the rear bumper, is that what you mean?

Yep, that is kinda what I am looking for. But I saw it had a aluminum or steel oblong ring around the exhaust and it exited from the side.

I thought about doing more like this http://www.leftlanenews.com/cars/ima...-equator-1.jpg but I still like the look of bolts around the outer ring.

Seems like I might have to just build something myself... ahh the world of customizing.

I should have said that I dropped a V12 Ferrari engine in my truck. It is really fast but the oil changes cost an arm and a leg.

I think I have seen what you mean. I remember reading an article in Truckin Magazine like 5 years ago and it had a teal F-150 supercrew (2001-2002) and it had the exhaust coming out each side but cut through the rear quarter panel and it was surrounded by a chrome oval ring that had almost a bevel edge to it.

To each their own. It's more of show truck style to me.
