Exhaust noise?

I have a 01 5.4 F150 when you begin to take off it has a noise that kind of sounds like a really bad exhaust leak, but it only does it when I take off and only for about 3-4 seconds. Any suggestions?

Where is the sound coming from? Manifold leaks are common in your generation. If your exhaust is 100% stock and unchanged its very much due for a new system.

Check the muffler also, I have an 02 screw with 84k and a 00 scab with 94k on it and they both make the same noise and need the muflers replaced!

I would like to replace the system on my 00 with something else but not sure on what to get?
