We all know that they are available in basic aluminized, they have been since their release in March 2007. But if stainless is available & SI/DO coming very soon, why use crap aluminized that will rust out after a winter.

That will be a good sounding set-up. Good choice. Wish you the best of luck.

is $315 a good deal on a 14" Magnaflow muffler, two Magnaflow 4x18 rolled tips, 2 Magnaflow 94006 high flow cats, and a Magnaflow x pipe?

Very good deal. Usually cat work alone is $150 alone average. You are buying the parts from the shop? or are you providing the parts and the overall install will be $315?

If that's install, that's still very good! And that can't be with parts, the parts alone are over 500.

Close, not not over $500. It would be $426.

The 94006 series cats are $76 each, X pipe is $80, 14" body is $84, and the tips would be atleast $110 - $120.

Why wouldn't he get two mufflers? Maybe I missed something, but if he's going to have an X pipe that would mean he was going to run true duals? Which would be two mufflers? Or is he getting a di/do?

Oh that caught me off guard. He said "14" Magnaflow muffler" not "muffler[s]" Small things like that make a difference which lead me to believe it was just a single muffler, totally ignoring ther fact that an X pipe would be involved. Forgive me for the mis understanding LOH, thats what a guy gets for being on the computer at work

Not your fault, I was just seeing if I missed something. So that extra 84, puts him at 510 which is over 500.

I'd guesstimate around 300-350. 150 for cats, 50 for X, 50 for muffler, and 100 for tailpipes and tips.

Won't make you that much. I'd hold them and wait til the market rebounds.
