You shouldn't have a problem with your set-up. The valves will be fine. Technicaly your stock exhaust manifolds will have enough restriction just keep your cats and mufflers.

Good point. Sorry i missed that. I was thinking more about the backpressure and what would hurt the valves. Might want to add at least a muffler.

He started with a different setup so he wouldnt be the same. He also added high flow cats now. Correct me if im wrong but 04+ have 2 cats. You should think about headers and mufflers (or h-piped) and it would still be pretty loud.

i have an 06, and before i put the high flows on i had one 16" cat to each pipe. After some research i decided to keep my high flows and put some sort of muffler on there, i just dont want to dampen my sound too much, im young and dumb so i want my truck to talk haha

Trust me, i got the "talk to ya" exhaust problem also. I kinda like the poppin it gives me back. You can find a nice muffler that doesnt kill that sound you love but if you want loud, add some long tubes.

btw, high flows-good choice

You should be ok with the hi-flow converters. As long as theres some type of cat system on it you'll be ok.

Your engine will be fine, you have 2 cats on it and you have plenty of pipe to help with flow. If you like the straights you can keep them and be fine, however if you would like to gain some power back I would suggest an x or h-pipe.
