Tail section question

I'm no rocket surgeon, but this just don't look right... I indicated the flow direction with the arrow, do you guys have a 1pc or 2pc over-the-axle tailpiece?

I complained about it, but the clown said you're always going to get bends like that unless you have a mandrel. .... It's 3" tube by the way...

I never seen a two piece tailpipe job like that, but I too have smooth bent exhaust and my tailpipes look a hell of alot smoother than that. I can easilly tell your installer was in a rush to get it done and over with.

I guess muffler shops should start being like tattoo artists... have a portfolio so you can see the quality of work FIRST. He seemed like a nice guy at first, eager to make sure I got what I wanted. But once you get out the door...sayonara SUCKER! ...sonofabish...

EDIT:... how bad do you think that is constricting the flow?

well someone didnt know how to bend exhaust, let alone set up the welder for proper penetration. even if they didnt use a mandrel it shouldnt look all beat up like that.

That looks like a side of the road fix!

Take this picture to them and see what they say. Let them know that you'll be sure to spread the picture around to help show off their excellent exhaust skills

Not real badly since its a 3" tailpipe. The job could bave been done a little smoother though, slow and easy pipe bends. Granted its dirty under my truck here how my system looks.
