There is no use arguing with him, he is going to continue to believe what he wants. The only problem is he will end up telling someone on here that doesn't know any better that a 22" maggie is loud and they will end up being unhappy with their exhaust.

It's very difficult to tell someone what a good sounding exhaust sounds like because different people have different tastes. For example, I think straight pipes sounds terrible whereas other guys like that sort of thing.

Exactly my point. Now, if you and I got into a discussion about good sounding exhausts, we would never come to any sort of conclusion.

It might take a few tries and a few coins, but eventually you'll get what you want.

Exactly. Somebody that runs this thing shouldnt allow him on here lol ive never heard such a load of bullcrap false statements in my life and somebody is gonna believe him and be one more pissed off person when they wanted loud, and dont have anything at all close to what they wanted once its installed.

The thing is the OP wanted it louder, he didn't ask about sound. You are right though sound "good" is very subjective.

My true dual straight pipes was very loud. After a while it got to annoying. WOT sounded like *** honestly. It was loud but just wasnt a good sound. I have 2 14" maggies on the truck now and WOT sounds mean and deep, while just normal driving there isnt much drone and it sounds real good.

I've got this + hi-flow cats. There's a little more drone with the cats, but it's still not near as bad as other setups I've heard. I love the tone my truck has now. It gets better with age.

I'm with cashel and ironsin on this one.. I have 2 14" maggies and it sounds great to me.. I don't have high flows, but it still sounds loud enough to me.
