My 05 F150 FX4 is leaking on the right exhaust bank. The local exhaust shop advised that EPA Rules/Laws requires the manufactor to repair for 8 years or 80,000 miles. I have found reference to this in the EPA site online. But does not go into specifics. Does anyone know if this is true??? I dont want to make a fool of myself at the local dealer should this not be true. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If your exhaust is completely stock an unaltered you are good to get any leaks fixed.
