ok so this is how it goes 10 series is the loudest made by flowmaster, 44 is the second loudest I believe, and 40 series is the 3rd loudest.

You will have power with an H, just slightly more with an X. You will have more sound with an H, slightly less with an X. Its your choice. When i went from a Y pipe, to true duals H piped, power felt exactly the same. The sound difference was incomparable.

I honestly doubt you would feel a difference any exhaust is a very minimal change in hp. Like i said before the difference is minimal between the 2, the biggest difference is most shops have x-pipes pre built laying around.

yes, 10 series is the loudest made by flowmaster.

besides the outlaw series, which i believe is not street legal in NC.

10 series is the loudest Flowmaster muffler, because it is a Single chambered Race Muffler(illegal muffler) but after that the Super 44 IMO is far superior than that of the Original 40.

I mean you can have it legally lol. I'm just saying, they sell it under their "race" Mufflers which is like that Roush Off Road(illegal) setup.

Spot on, fully agree

To add my opinion of the 10 series, they're loud but sound like trash. Super 44 sounds the best.

In my opinion it just has no deep echo like the 2 chambers cases offer, its still a Flowmaster sound, just missing the deep echo.

What is your full exhaust layout? I forgot or never really heard you explain it.

The trucks I have heard in person with a single chamber Flowmaster was a 90s Chevy 350 and a 4.8L Silverado, and since GM engines exhaust pulses are much stronger than Fords I was pretty surprized to hear how faint the deep tone was, the throttle and revs were insanely loud though
