Exhaust question

I still am almost positive about the Magnaflow 14" si/do muffler with stainless pipe and rolled angled tips. Any ideas how much that costs? (I'm in Massachusetts if that has any effect) And another maybe dumb question. I have read some things about the Roush Off-Road Exhaust, and I like split side rear exists. Can the Roush system with rear exit, be bent to go split side?

The 14" runs for $90, tips could run $80 - $100 for two good stainless ones, $100 - $150 for install, then the state tax.

You can have a shop bent the Roush tailpipes to exit sideways. You can not order it bent to the side.

That's about as dead on as you can get. I paid 120 for my tips, but yeah.

Thanks guys... Now what would you suggest out of the two options, I don't want to make it a million dollar project. But if the Roush is better quality/performance/sound, ill give a serious look at it

General consensus on this site is that the Roush system is as good as it gets performance/quality/sound wise. I think it looks and sounds great, just too tame and quiet for me. (Not all that aggressive sounding)

I love it so far. I dont have my custom tunes yet ( still in the list of tunes to be made ), but the gauge pod with its million options and convenient displays is great. Tomorrow I really get to try it out, filling up with 93 and switching to performance level 3.

The Roush Off-Road sounds much better than Magnaflow does. The Roush is much more aggressive sounding and much louder too.

That's good to hear Darren, it seems like a great investment, best of luck And with what you say, I might try to save for it and get it and then have it bent, we'll see what happens. Where is a good site to get it from? Any bigdog87, I'm lovin the way Gordon is starting off, I have a feeling great things are on the way !!!!!

Check summitracing.com

Yeah man, it's fantastic, He's gone to win at Bristol week after this and it's going to be all downhill for everyone else, I'm glad to see that fire back in his eye, I missed it last year.

Summit has usually the best prices around. Rick Hendrick said he hasn't seen this fire in his eye since 2001, when he won six races and the cup. I want him to go on a run like 1998 where he won 13 races.

Yeah I know man. He needs to get moving and I think this is his year for victory. Btw,
http://www.woodhousestore.com/servlet/Detail?no=1017
the have it at 540 and some change including shipping ($70 of that is the shipping) Still $43 under the prices of most of the websites. Im seriously thinking about it now. My exhaust I am planning for May or so. I just want to make sure I can have it bent 45 degress out behind the tires, would Meineke do that and the install?

Meineke ought to, they do exhauast they should do it without a doubt, you could just give them a call and ask.
