Where to get some headers 2008 5.4

Where can I find the Pacesetter LT headers. I see them and they only go to 06. Will these work??? If not where can I find then for my 08 5.4?

They should work. 2004 - 2008 5.4Ls are the same. Summit, Jegs, possibly ebay will have them listed.

I think Stainless Works? too have some nice headers. As far as 06 bieng like 08's, as far as I know they're the same 04-08, actually probably 09 too as the head look the same.

Thanks guys. What do you do about the CEL when installing LT's due to the part about no rear O2 sensor?

Yes if you dont put cats on it with rear 02s you will get a CEL about cat effiency (or lack there of), also even if you put high flow cats in, sometimes you get a CEL. However any tuner turn off that cell by telling the truck to ignore the rear 02 sensors.

So I can just turn off the rear O2 sensors. Will it show up that there is no rear O2 when they plug in to do emissions testing?

The rear O2s need extended and mounted after the cats. If you get a CEL, your custom tune will disable it since you need your LTs tuned after installed.

How hard is this going to be to install these things? I have a 08 with 13K on it and I live in AZ so rust and such should not be a prob. I also found the $1500 kit that comes with cats and cross overs and I found the pacesetters for 500. Now I have about 3 yrs of working at ford under my belt but what I'm thinking is what would be the better deal? 1500 right off the bat and not have to worry about getting tagged for not having cats and not having to fab up all the other exhaust cross overs and such, OR get the 500 ones and have to fab up cross overs and flanges and such. I mean my exhaust not goes past cats and comes to the Y pipe then right past cab and dumps down and out. Not looking for much more then that. In a few months I will be going back to MN and they still don't have emish. as far as I know so the cats are not that big of a thing for me I guess.... It's just doing the rest of the piping. What do yall think? Another and last thing is what about back pressure with having long tube headers and no cats and really short exhaust after headers? Any problems with this??

Thanks for the help and sorry for the book!!

I did the install of my pacesetter's and yes it was a pain in the ***. the worst part is the passenger side make sure you take out the inner black fender. small ratchet wrenches are a must, I would also hit up all the bolts a few times the night b4 with some WD or PB just to make it less of a pain, and I made the bends for my exhaust lucky for me I could use my dads shop. I did have a Magnaflow catback so I only had to make the bends to there.

As for your cats you are going to want to put them on there only $50 you will also want to keep your low-end TQ up so keep the cats and put a good muffler on. And not a slowmaster either! good luck

I know Huitt24 and Bluebeast06 also did there install
