I just got onto Troyers website, looking at performance kits. Noticed the AF1 for my truck 00' F-150 w/4.6L is discontinued!! Now what?? I have read that this is the one Mike recommends for these trucks. Finally got the money for the intake and possibly the chip, and now I am lost...Also, hearing things about lean problems with adding a intake only?? I was going to start with that and add a troyer tune later, but now the intake situation has got me all messed up. Help!!!

 

I think everyone just went SB b/c they are cheaper, and use the same filters. You'll be fine with a SB intake and a tune.

 

They went out of business. You can run a CAI on a 2v engine without needing a tune to prevent running lean, its the 3v engines that are at risk.
