Hey man, I don't REALLY know the angle they are put at so I can't tell you, but a local exhaust shop could bend you a piece up, you might could do it yourself not sure.

 

yea but without takin the cats off and measurin things and angles, how could they bend the pipe just right for me without bein able to install it?

 

Not sure, I know when Darren replaced his cats, he just used regular pipe and it was just a straight piece of pipe no bends or anything.

 

You will need atleast a 11" 120 degree bend shaped as much like a V as possible. Not a full on curve, not a fukll on V, just a 120 degree angle. I would suggest having an exhaust man look at it and bend you a couple pieces and give him a nice tip as a favor.

 

would it be ok to clamp this part? i dont like clamps but idk if my neighbor can weld. never asked him but hes big into mustangs and he took the cats off his 04 cobra. so he should know what to do at least....

 

Yeah that will work. My cat delete job was clamped but we recently welded it up since I had a few exhaust leaks.

 

ok so basically the hardest part is gettin a shop to make me the perfect piece to fit. when they realize its to get rid of my cats do you think thatl keep them from makin it? after all theyl be makin money and doin nothin illegal......

 

No, they aren't doing anything to make them legally obligated.

 

Your just paying a guy to make you a couple bends, with economy and business where its at I dont really think you will have much of a problem getting someone to do it. And since they aren't warrantying or installing, it wont be on their behalf.
