Back pressure has nothing to do with your exhaust performance. Many of many people get this confused. What your thinking of is the scavenging ( velocity between two exhausts, 1 exhaust per bank, aka true duals ). Backpressure is what you feel when your coasting down a hill and your rpms rise and you can hear the exhaust, and your not giving it brake or gas. Sounds cool, but it also wastes gas.

With a 5.8L you'll be able to back up the 2.5" duals no problem.

I hate the sound of straight pipes so i'll want to say no, but yeah it'll sound good if you like straights.

Not unless you modify the cats. Leave them be and you'll be good.
