I would recommend 2.5" pipe. It's going to be loud as hell! :beers:

Depends, do you have money to toy around with? Willing to give up gas mileage? Any other performance mods you want?

A helluva a lot. Especially if you get long tubes(only ones worth it).

2.5" will sound better than 2.25". Headers if you have a few extra hundred left over to invest in a good set it could be worth it. You'll gain about 35% more sound with LTs.

Probably so, but you might want to also invest in a tuner and intake.

why not make the exhaust exits just behind the front wheels? am having a plan for my truck, fit aftermarket headers then just beside the transmission weld 2 small mufflers (1 muffler for each monifold) and let the air goes directy to road ( no chassis burns)...i know my old Nissan patrol 4.8 gained lots from this setup , so i would like to try it here :)

www.VMPtuning.com Something like that, simply a tuner that tells your truck's computer what it has done to it, to where it can take advantage of the mod.

Send them an email. It's like justin@vmptuning.com and just tell him what you'll have and what he would recommend.
