my buddy has true duals and it's not that loud even, the days of wind shattering pipes are long gone. my truck is just as loud as your, that was my point, i have single exhaust as it is just as loud as your duals.

You wont get a CEL as long as the rear O2s are mounted after the hi-flow cats, and as long as you go with Magnaflows part #94306, 94006, or 94106. Performance-Curve, Performance Peddler, and Summit Racing stocks them.

Its amazing how you can tell how loud something is in real life through a sound clip on the internet that you have a VOLUME control for. I hate to break it to you but with straight pipes true duals of the same size will be louder than a non true dual setup. With a muffler in the mix its the exact opposite, true duals are quieter because you have 2 mufflers instead of 1.

In my video clip I am barely reving it and u can hear how loud it already is. My clip is in my sig.
I can't remember the guys name on here, he has one of the off white trucks I think its an 07 or so. Anyway he had longtubes and highflows into bullets, I think his was probably the loudest setup I have heard of.

eitherway, run what you want, not everyone can run exhaust such as yours. true duals with mufflers won't be quieter than single exhaust with a muffler.

Oh my God do you just argue for the sake of arguing, please please please just tell me how you came to the conclusion that 1: not everyone can run the same setup I have and 2: how 2 mufflers doesn't make the same motor quieter than 1 muffler?

1. in my state running an exhaust in front of the rear tire is illegal
2. 1 muffler on each pipe is the same loudness as 1 pipe and 1 muffler

So did they not sell f150s in your state in 1997 because they exited there from the factory, and I guess no one in your state owns a lightning. Also again on the 2vs1 your still very much wrong. Let me see if I can explain this to you, if you have 60 db's of exhaust note and you add a muffler that blocks 10 db you are left with 50 db's. If you have true duals (there a little louder as we cleared up earlier) and start off with 65 db's and add 2 mufflers that block 10 db you are now left with guess what 45'db's.

So your admitting your wrong about the 2vs1 thing or just ignoring it because you cant argue your point?
Also if you want to get technical your cant modify exhaust at all, under some bs federal law, also I have Zero black on my wheels and I don't think a little suet would "Ruin" any wheel ever.

ruin the rims was why ford relocated the tailpipe after '97. as the the muffler scenario, i don't care. you must be one of those guys who been everywhere and did it twice, and had 100 vehicles. i'm done
