True duals Lightning Style

Ok, I want to do true dual straights on my truck, and I've found a shop that will do all the work for ultra cheap. That includes smooth bent pipes, installing hi flow cats, and the 3.5 inch tips that will exit Lightning style. What size pipes should I run, 2.5 inch? And what kind of connecting pipe should I have installed, X-pipe, H-pipe?

2.5" is always good, smooth bent it will still retain decent scavenging. X pipe is much better than an H pipe, it really cross flows the exhaust, retaining better low end power, which the H doesn't do as well.

True dual straights aren't going to kill my low end will it?

Shouldn't hurt it too bad, the X pipe will do better for them.

I sorta noticed a minor loss with my true duals, but then again mine is stock tuned, stock performance in general which isn't programmed for them, gained a little back with the rear cats out though.

I have that exact setup, and I love it. I do actually feel like I might have gained a little power.

I'll be sure to have PHP write me up a custom tune soon after the exhaust is done.
