Electric Cut Out

With this electric cut out is there anywhere it can go before the cats? I have had no muffler and its pretty loud, but would putting this on before the cats (if possible) make it any louder than that?

Also I have the MBPR SI/DO system and if i put this on would it be just like the MBRP when the cut out was closed???

Not much knowledge, so anything would be helpful.

Ok thanks. Would it be TOO loud to drive on the street and not have trouble from cops?

Yes, it's the same as running open headers.

Depends on where you locate the cutout(s). I've never seen just one used. My neighbor runs cutout on his TA for the drag strip.

Headers -> cutout -> rest of pipe

Ok so I would need two.

Would running these cuts outs cause any harm or damage to my motor or any other things?

You realize there are two banks, meaning you would need two cut-outs, and electric ones aren't cheap.

It can be done as long as you dont have the 4 cat system ( early model 2005s ) and if you leave them open after shutting off it could harm the valves. Shutting a hot engine off then the cold air going into the open cut-outs and hitting the valves = cracked.
