Borla Pro XS. Its a bit more expensive but it performs great, has a deep tone but doesn't drone, and will be shiny silver 5 years from now unlike all the rest!

Aluminized exhaust components will rust out overtime, especially in winter. Being in NJ I would suggest getting your stuff done in stainless unless you can afford changing exhausts on a yearly basis.

It will last 7 - 10 years if you dont drive it in winter. Salt will eat it alive. My last trucks exhaust with aluminized pipes and Flowmaster mufflers was destroyed by the salt.

You two may be arguing about different things... is it "aluminized steel" or is it "aluminum"??? With the Aluminized Steel the coating can wear off and the steel under it will rust. If its aluminum, it won't rust... but it could start to corrode and eventually fail.

Either way, Stainless Steel is the way to go... just make sure its a high quality SS (Corsa or Borla) or it will develop surface rust and still look like crap.

i would think that aluminum would start to crack and break apart after some time as well. not to mention it would likely be hard to bend.
