yeah.hmmm after reading all these mixed opinions on true duals im not sure. lol. i want a good, louder/deeper tone in all rpm ranges. idle, low rpm, and WOT etc...but doing so without touching cats because every shop charges outrageous amounts for that work. haha i know thats asking for alot

The main thing with true duals is it will have its own tone and sound level from each engine revolution, which will make it rasp under WOT, sound like the same level at the other rpms. I wouldn't do a true dual unless you plan future performance modification.

Oh ofcoarse. I thought you already had that setup. Chop the original Y and have one with 2.5" inlets to a 3" outlet and a direct straight intermediate pipe you will free up restriction. Sound sound near the same.

sound-wise not really, but performance wise you actually should notice better low end and better towing experience.

If you want a better flowing exhaust to enchance low end rpm, and a little economy increase ( probably 0.5mpg or so ) I would.

Well you can if you want the dual rumble sound, other than that your current set up is much healthier to run and just as loud.

Well think is a totally different being than what is best. Tell them it is true dualed, and if they dont believe you tell them to look under and see, and if they do, then tell them they must have plenty of time on their hands if they took the time to verify it
