Banks monster exhaust

What are yall's thoughts about the single side exit of the monster exhaust. I was thinking of purchasing the dual exit but i heard that it gives the truck a micky mouse look. let me know of any performance gain, noise, etc..... gracias

IMHO, Banks is an excellent exhaust! I bought mine in the summer of '08 and I do not regret it. If you are looking for a super loud exhaust this wouldn't be a good choice. It has a nice rumble when you step on it at a medium tone!

I don't regret buying my Banks Monster system at all! I did go with the single outlet (the tip is a little big) but the sounds is perfect. Definitely one of the louder exhausts I have heard on the 5.4. I'd buy Banks again.

Gale Banks engineers his products to perform, not make noise. It's more go & less show. As opposed to all show & no go.

Its a good performing system, but there are better sounding systems out there IMO.

I have the split tailpipe version on my 08 SCrew. I like the look (not sure about the Mickey Mouse) and the sound is throaty. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Banks TorqueTube headers? I'm thinking about going with them next, or some Doug Thorleys...

i have the banks exhaust on mine and i love its i have had it on the truck for about 3 years the other night it was pouring rain and wind blowing hard i didnt see my trash can lid my truck is lowered i ran over my trash can lid and i got hung between the tailpipe and tire and it pulled my exhaust loose from where it bolts up by the motor i had rest of it welded but not by the motor so the nex morning i took a saw and cut the tail pipe off after the muffler so i could get it out took it to the muffler shop and had them put a 3.5 inch turn down coming out of the muffler man ill tell you what it sounds awesome like that and its really fun when you pull out onto a hignway with a turning lane and the lane has dirt and dust build up cause when you hammer on it it blows all the dirt and dust up on cars lol

I don't think it's a good idea to have the exhaust exiting under the truck because all that moisture will slowly cause problems down the road. I am waiting for my Banks Powerpack to arrive , headers, intake, duel tip exhaust and reprogrammer, should be fun!!
