Not for nothing, but if you signed up for this forum just to make fun of Manuel....what does that say about your character?

Manuel, now with the full pics I too can say it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Not really a fan of the lonnnngggg bed either; it would probably look better on a short or normal length bed, and definitely closer to the cab would look good too but I understand you didn't want to mess with the structural stuff. It looks OK, I'll give you that and congrats on personalizing your truck.

hey manual you ought to look into getting one of the low profile tool boxes that is the same height as the bed walls. It will flow alot better with the diamond plate filler plate

or one even lower like this:

hahaha he speaks the truth!!

but manual it looks good...it does look a little funny being that is the only thing you have done to your truck exterior wise...i would say get some beefier tires like a/t's and maybe level it and get some different rims. then i think it would fit in the whole truck better.

congrats on getting it done though...cant wait to hear the video though

Yeah, I was focusing on the interior stuff first, then moving on to the exterior.

My next exterior mod will be chrome side steps and a brush guard.

However... Patman gave me an idea earlier of getting the bumpers and grill painted to match.

But I think I'm getting the seat covers soon... so it will be an interior mod next...

It's coming...

It doesnt look bad, I agree with the others that it would look better on a shorter bed like my length and a low pro tool box.....I wanna hear how it sounds to see if it makes me like it more. But Atleast you can say that nobody else on this site with a V6 f150 has stacks haha.

BTW do they make foggers for like halloween but instead of the white "fog", black? Add that and a PA with diesel sounds and you'll be all set

J/k Manual...

in all honestly i think they need to be pushed towards the cab more, pushed outward more, and angle cut like the ones that patman posted on the Dodge.

A 2.5" leveling kit and some 33's like FI10FIRES truck and it would look like it belongs more.

X2!!!

Time for a video!

I can't believe how so many people got their panties in a bundle over this thread.

I think it turned out looking fine. With others, I think it would look better on a short bed. I think it would also benefit from a truck color that offered greater contrast, like a red truck.

Manual -- Congrats on having the kahoonies to do what you wanted in spite of the skeptisism.

Thanks for all the comments. Much appreciated.

I made a screen so people can't throw garbage down my stacks... I used a 4" Oatey Shower strainer and machined it to fit snugly. I then tapped it in with a ball-pean.

Now I'm all set.

You might be right... I think it'll hold up until I can get them tacked.

Great idea.
