Props for going through with this even with almost all negative feedback on here lol. Take some further away shots. and 1 from the front as well. Won't make any judgments until I see them from a view one would driving.

Thanks!

Yeah... I'm kind of amazed at how many people commented back so quick. This thread already has 4,500+ views... lol

I don't believe all the negative feedback is really negative at all. Some just envy it, some do hate it, but some like to follow the crowd. But hey, everyone has the right to their own opinion --even though it is sometimes skewed. I'm not here to bash others' opinions... I'm just here to contribute, that's all. If you don't like it, say it, but be nice.

Well, once it gets out of the shop, I'm going to get a few good pictures this weekend, and it will be from close-ups to distance shots... I'll try to get some cool winter pix with it too.

Overall, like I said, I'm happy and content with it. I can't wait for the summer months though, when I have the windows down.

from the pictures, i can say that it actually looks good...a lot better than what i was thinking it would look like but yes props on doing it with all the insults (i also like how you come back and laugh at ur self while sort of making fun of them...a good attitude to have)

but definetly take some farther away pictures and try to get someone to video it driving away or something so we can get an idea as to what it sounds like.

congrats on your addition to the truck...keep it up.

(and leave the f150online sticker on...be proud )

Yeah, I didn't want to look obnoxious... but I wanted it to be noticeable as well.

Ahh... those insults are rather funny and amusing.

Yep, I am actually going to put my camera in a tripod (weighted down in the bed of course) and drive around for 5 minutes or so... mixed driving, some stop and go and some highway. And I'll nab a few good pictures at different views and angles.

Those cell phone pics don't do any justice whatsoever.. I was going to bring my good camera, but I forgot to bring it in. But no biggie... the best part is taking them after its all done. But it is cool to see how they were constructed.

Oh, and I'm proud of F150online...

Actually, I already paid for it.... but, the whole thing ran me $1,000... but because I'm his friend, that is the deal. A normal person walking in, they are looking at roughly $1,500 to $1,800 for this same exact job.

However, you could go with a single stack or do a "T" stack setup in the bed which would be a LOT less. It just doesn't look nearly as nice as 2 pipes coming from a SI/DO muffler. The price of the stacks, after tax and shipping, you are looking about ~$350 to ~$500 depending on the shops pricing. Doing it my way is extremely labor intensive, thus costing so much. The other thing that is adding to that cost is that diamond plate cover, which would probably cost about ~$200.

It adds up quick in the end... trust me.

There were no cut corners on this project.

Man, the toolbox has to go. It's blocking the stacks too much.

since he's got the muffler prior to, the stacks will be acting as tips so probably no loss of power

manual we need some full view shots of the truck now

It doesn't look too bad on the close up pictures you took. I think you should have went with smaller diameter stacks however, those ones look to big for your application.

I too would like to see some pictures of the whole truck to get the full "homoness" of it. Thanks for the laugh bjp.

It just doesnt look bad to me at all. You know the saying "opinions are like a$$holes". Its your truck, your money and your strong commitment to your own image of what you want your truck to be, and that is simply: your truck So let people talk and poke fun, have a good laugh and enjoy your truck !

Well Congrats for going through with it Manual, not sure if I completely hate it yet or if I'm OK with it. Need to see the "full" exterior photos. But my hats off to you for doing something that makes you happy, hope you enjoy it.

x2 - Although it's costly and controversial, I'm glad to see that you went forward with your idea and did it no matter what others say/think. Props for that. Can't wait to see some more pics (and please take a bunch).
