For the holidays i was looking into getting a exhaust. I heard that flow masters is going to be the loudest one you can get. I was wondering what yall think.
I want my cats though
Tell me what yall think.
I dont want it to have that weak sound, as if it cant get any louder when you put the pedal down.

Super 44 = the best Flowmaster muffler. Yes its a bit louder because its much more open and better flowing than the 40 series. These guys have no cats, but check out the exhausts.

With the Super 44 you can achieve a much more aggressive acceleration/rev, and a very deep idle/low rpm.

 

The Flowmasters are going to be very loud. Personally I think the MagnaFlow Exhaust is a great product. It won't be overly loud while you are not on the gas heavily, but when you get on it, it will become much louder

 

i have the super 44 dumped on my 4.6. its loud as hell for only a muffler. my friend put a cherry bomb, don't no what model but it was supposed to be the loudest and my truck was 10x's louder than his. dumping the exhaust should make it a bit louder than full pipes out the rear.

 

i think my original 40 is loud for a 4.6
