Hi Flows with True Dual Straight Pipes

So i have true dual straight pipes dumped right before the rear axel and i wanted it louder and deeper so I ordered some magnaflow high flow cats(94306).. I feel like I messed up because I wanted it to be a lot louder and every one is saying that the 94106s are louder..

I guess my question is, is with the 94306 am I not going to notice that much of a difference in sound or will it be a lot louder????

Also my dumped exhaust has just the 2.5 inch piping turned down..would the exhaust be louder if i added some like 4 inch short tips to the end of the turn downs even though its still facing the ground.

Thanks in advance.

Oh you will definitely be happy. The 94106 is only a tad louder due to its only 3"s shorter. Your replacing big 16" or so length cats that are loaded with all types of sound killing contaminents, for 12" long straight through cats that will do the job of burning excess gases and not resonating any sound.

oh yea that would help out with sound,

its kinda like when i had my ranger with straights, i didnt have enough money for tips at he moment so i just ran the pipe out the back then put tips on about a month later, noticed a pretty good difference, but i only went with 3"x12" tips, i bet if you did 4" tips it would be a nice sound, any tips will give a nicer sound

and i have 94106 cats on mine with as of right now true dual single chambers on my 4.6, monday i will be running with no mufflers

yeah man definitely get some tips on the turn downs, cheap chrome ones, no need for stainless if your keeping them hidden.
