Best intake for Budget???

Picking up a edge tomorrow. Plan is to take it down and swap it over to a gryphon..
Dont want to spend alot of money on a intake...Any options other than a drop in?

AirAid replacement tube using stock enclosed box with a drop in filter. Or maybe the S&B. x2 on the non open filter kits.

Ok I found a k&n fipk 2 locally I am buying this afternoon! I already have the edge will it compensate for the intake or do I have to go in and custom change anything?

do you still have to get a custom tune with the airrade jr. kit? Does it take away the sluggish downshift of my 04 5.4?

Damn really? I'm always as careful as I can when I wash under the hood. You could get away with a little wipe & shine too no worries with anything like that, just whenever water is being sprayed in the engine. I only clean my plastics and partial metals and the underside of the hood.
