Super 44s will sound better, much more aggressive. It will certainly be heard well. Hell if my Magnaflow 11" bodies are heard well inside, the Super 44s really will. They certainly did drone on my old truck.

well, have your Y pipe chopped, run dual 2.5" pipes, have the X pipe mounted right where the left bank pipe runs along side the passenger bank pipe, then run the pipes back to the mufflers which should be 1.5' infront of the axle, and then run tailpipes how you wish if you wish to have tailpipes. Heres pictures of my old trucks exhaust for reference, which had true dual H piped Super 44s, and a interior sound video if you are also interested, granted its a Chevy 6.0L, Flowmasters still sound the same.

Yeah 2.5" is perfect for a true dual. Super 44s with hi-flow cats, man that will sound loud lol, it'll be sweet. You should still get the X cross over, the ppes still need balanced.
