What are the chances..

That, with my rear cats gone, pre-cats being the only cats, if I go to my Ford dealer and have them install my Bilstein front struts and balance the front, do you think if someone notices the rear cats are missing, s**t will start and they might try getting me in trouble for it? Do they have the right to do so? I guess technically it is altering OEM equipment, and the county inspection says if it came with 4, it leaves with 4. Any ideas if I'll be alright? Or am I stuck living the fear of getting caught? I'm thinking of just getting hi-flow converters with the pre-cats just so i'm alright, but I know theres guys with no cats running around. I have no warranty of any type, and my truck is 5yrs old.

I doubt they do anything. unless they are just one of those dealers thats by the book. I know the dealers around here could care less what people do to their stuff, especially if you bought it from them.

if your to worried about it you might think about taking it to a suspension shop or some kind of shop that can do that sort of stuff, not only will you not be caught but it wont hurt your wallet as much

if it were me i would take it to the ford shop with no worries, most people dont care they understand we want our trucks louder

btw how do i re-size my freakin sig so i can get my picture back up there

Yeah, well there isn't really alot of shops around her like that, Im in a plain jane area, the car dealers are the biggest things here. $200 some installed, and balanced I agree with it.

I'll have to fix your sig, the moderators dont like my signature photos.

i highly dought anyone would care unless they are just flat out a$$holes. its not there truck so why should they care. and you could actually do the shocks or struts yourself if you wanted to. and take the tires off and have them balanced. just an option.

Thanks for the input . We already did the shocks, but struts is different, I dont really trust my friend too much about it, and this way I can get the allignment immediatley.
