Also If There Is A Cat Back System I would be fine with that too and just replace the cats with high flows

You have two cats. ( 2005.5+ have two, 1997 - 2005 have four )

94306, 94006, and 94106 will work properly with your year truck. In order from calmest to loudest.

The 14" Magnaflow would be a good choice. All Magnaflow cat-backs contain 18" body mufflers, which is quieter ofcoarse. But if I were you, I would look into the Roush Off-Road cat-back, thing is you would need to change the tips, unless you like the 4x12s straight out.

I love my 4x18 rolled tips, part #35117.

I was looking at a Roush but money is kinda a hold back this time.. I was wondering if anyone has the magnaflow exhaust set up from Mad Hatter Performance Exhaust I think they are out of ceder falls, IA... looks like a nice set up just wondering how it sounds. Would anyone suggest putting hi flow cats in replace of the two oem cats?

We had a member recently buy from them with positive feedback. Heres a link to the thread https://www.f150online.com/forums/ex...se-i-have.html

and heres the specs on Mad Hatter https://www.f150online.com/forums/3421225-post7.html

Hi-flow cats will help it sound much better, increasing your economy as well.

okay sorry guys... I never decided on an exhaust system, but finally after paying off numerous bills and getting ahead. I have decided now is the time!!!!! this is what I'm wanting to do. Magnaflow High Flow Cats, and Magnaflow SI/SO. So here is the question.
1). Part Number for the high flows (2 right?)
2). Loudest Most Agressive Sounding SI/SO (yes i am going to go with si/so because i just want to replace my stock muffler)
3). Part Number for that Magnaflow Si/So
4). What type of inlet ex. center, offset and what type of outlet? I want it to just replace my stock muffler.
5). What size of tip? I want it to fit right on the stock pipe and i want the biggest tip

Thank you very much!!! I need this answered fast because I'm going to order this sometime this week.

#1. Do you want the loudest cats? #94106 Magnaflow cats will do. Calmer yet still loud, #94306 will do but cost $32 more. Yes you need two cats, 1 per bank. The O2 sensors get mounted AFTER the new cats.

#2. Loudest SI/SO Magnaflow universal muffler would be the 11" body ( I run them ).

#3. Mine is 11366 but thats a 2.5" muffler. If your going to run a SI/SO system I highly recommend running 3" from the Y pipe. Better performance, better flow path, richer, deeper, and louder sound. Now because of that, the 11" body would not be an option due to they're only available in 2.5", and 2.25". In this case, I would recommend you the 14" round body which is actually a hint louder than the 11" body ovals, just not as deep. part #14419 will be right for you.

#4. The Round bodies are only center/center inlet/outlet so question solved. It will fit for sure. If a 9x12x32" muffler will fit under there, a 4x14" muffler will definitely fit.

#5. I would best suggest you a 4x12" tip, for single exits, 12" length looks better, and for the best sound echo, 1" larger than your pipe diameter does the best job. I would suggest part #35116

So overall your system would be 94106 Magnaflow cats, 3" single, 4x14" round body Magnaflow, 4x12" rolled tip. That would be nice and very loud.

Well the intermediate pipe ( from Y pipe to muffler ) I suggested going from the stock 2.5" to 3" for better flow, but if you really wish to keep the stock intermediate pipe and all of the rest, yes you can. for 2.5" you can run the 11" body ( 11366 ) and a 3.5" or 4" tip will finish it off nicely.

hey Darren.. The place I called are back ordered on the 11366 magnaflow muffler.. before i have them order it, it got me to thinking.. I am really wanting a nice deep sound, i dont want it really raspy like i call redneck style, i still want it loud enough so people know that i have taken off and am driving by but also dont want it annoying in the cab. Is the 11366 still the one to get you think?
