New Magnaflow Exhaust

Here is my gallery with some pics of my new Magnaflow 14" SI/DO w/4x18" rolled tips.
https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...lled-tips.html

One thing that i'm a little concerned about is why my left tailpipe and 3" intermediate pipe are already so discolored after only 4days!
This is my first custom exhaust, i have absolutely no experience with this but it throws me off a little.

Anyways, i'll try to get a sound clip and i'll probably throw it in this thread once i do.

Thanks man.

We had heavy rain for the past 3days, and i did a lot of driving during that time, so maybe that had something to do with it...i have no clue.

Ughh anyways, off to work...damn mondays!

Even if it was the heavy rain that caused it, i don't see why only the left tailpipe would be discolored and the right one is perfect. Even the outlet that tailpipe is attached to got a little discolored. I understand that after time these pipes will not look the same, but 4 days seems a bit to quick and i just worry that something may not be right. But again i have no experience with this so i have no clue....too much heat maybe?

This tailpipe already looks much worse the the factory pipe that was on there.

At least the tips still look new though i guess lol.

Looks great man, congrats! Maybe shoot the pipes with some water and wipe them down, see if it re-turns. Atleast now I know how my truck rear will look with my tips and the BFGs when I get them, damn sweet!

Thanks man, and thanks for all the help.
Yeah the tips and BFG's together are definetly sweet, i love the way it looks!
The tires, wheels, and leveling kit alone made it a whole new truck, and this new exhaust with these tips adds to that even more. Hmm what next, it's definetly a lot of fun modding these trucks. My wallet doesn't like it, but thats another story.

maybe a couple things for her Fusion, but first, the truck comes first! The bigger kid always steals the smaller kids lunch

Thats why i tell her it's fine as is, its a good looking car already and there is really nothing worth doing to it, and i damn sure don't want it riced out since i drive in it too!! I told her we'd get some new tires for it since the stock ones need replacing anyways, and maybe some wheels if we can find something that will not look horribly out of place. Hmm black tail lights could be an option as well, not sure. Other than that the focus needs to stay on my truck.

Alright, well here's a couple crappy videos i took with my Cannon Powershot SD750. Tried not to annoy my neighbors too much.
I'll try to get some better videos once i find a good place to take them and do some drive bys and WOT.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VfM0iqyztc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-Rgr5Yu124

In the second video at the end when i turn off the engine, as you can here it makes like a pop, clap type sound. I did not here this until i watched the video, not sure what it is.

So from the looks of things you used our muffler and had a shop bend you some aluminized pipe? Looks Good

Yep, your muffler as well as tips, and had a shop do the piping. I tried like hell to find a shop to do stainless steel mandrel bent piping, but i had no luck and this was the best i could find. At least it's smooth bends instead of crush bends though so thats a plus.

And thanks.
