got the exhaust done

finally got my duals done yesterday. cost for pipes and installation was $230+tax

the final result is 2.5" true dual 14" magnapacks straight out into 3.5x18" slash cut tips.





uploading a startup and reving video right now. ill get a take-off sometime later.

no, i wanted it x-piped, but the guy routed the pipes by the y-pipe so close together that there is not room for one. im going to take it to a different shop and have them re-route those pipes and put one in sometime.



these are the pipes going forward to the cats, you can see how close together he put them.

he did a good job on the rest of it though.

Awesome man sounds good. Just wait till a couple thousand miles then it will sound even better.

My exhaust guy mounted my pipes close to, only he cut the sides of the pipes a bit and welded them together for an X pipe affect, it works good, both tips give off the same sound & tone, and my truck will still pull you into the seat on a hard take off, so it worked!

Darren, do you have a pic of where the 2 pipes are welded together? I looked through your gallery and didn't see anything. Maybe I missed it?

Right where the original Y is and where the new pipe meets the passenger side, he cut about 2"s off the sides of both pipes and welded it together.
