Removing Rear Cats

I've noticed some people remove their rear cats when they get a new system, is there a noticeable difference in sound/performance in doing this?

I did this recently, difference in exhaust oh definitely, very noticeable difference, revs have a crackle now, and the volume of my Magnaflows as been dialed up a hell of alot more. My WOT pull seems slower I think, but my economy has not suffered, I actually get about 3 more miles on my 1/4 - 1/2 tank checks. Heres a good before & after video. Listen to them both closely, compare the start up, revs, and idle. You will notice the difference.

I've got high flows on my truck, certainly increased performance on the top end and took 2/10's off my 0-60. Sound clips in my sig. Good looking truck Hash!

nah didnt see a gain from 2 hi flows to 4 factory cats, but when i had the cats off it was worse, i average 18.3 with most of that highway driving, it was at about 15.5 when i had no cats
