As far as I know they are not legal here in GA, but I have a buddy who is doing it and he said that the people doing all the work would put it all back on (muffer, catalic converter, etc.) when he needed an emissions test, for free.

nope straights arent legal, if your gonna do no cats and no mufflers its gonna be loud as hell and your illegal as all hell, but if you have cats and no mufflers you might can get away with it, i.e no tickets and pass inspection

yeah, here in georgia, they only check to see if u got the cats at the emissions check. but u can get a noise violation, i think.

I hate straight pipes personally, but straights dont sound all that bad with the 4 cat system. But if you like it, go for it.

If i'm not mistaken, did you remove your rear cats also? I thought I saw something about that in the "Rear Cat Thread" in 2004+ section. If so I would definitely like to hear a video of that! Must be loud

Yeah true, I cut my rear cats out and it sounds pretty good. Glad I did so. Took me and my buddy 2.5hrs. Look up my thread on the install if your interested.

Hopefully the link works.
