As I stated in previous pages here, early model 2005s were the last to get the 4 cat systems, anything built past January 2005 has two cats. So 3/4s of 2005s have two cats.

That was before it had broken in more, I couldn't ever tell it was running with the acception of the cam phasers ticking. That wasn't a full warm start either so the idle was a bit higher than usual, at a 600rpm idle its nice and low with a slight choppy sound, not disturbing anyone, then when driven it gives a deep heavy tone out in the neighborhood. I'm very happy with it and love the clear sound.

Not if you mount them close enough to the cats. I would mount them on the exit pipe that is on the 94106 unit.

You may or may not. I cannot guarantee it but you should not have any troubles.

He is talking about removing the rear cats, not a hi-flow cat swap.

sorry for digging this up but im probably doing this soon to my 04 im just trying to figure out how to mount the pipes in there. i have a mig welder but the thing is i don't have enough room to get to the top of the pipes to weld them and you said with your clamps they're starting to leak. and i tried to ask a local shops but they're scared to death to cut out cats

My friend and I used pipe and slip fit adapters to make this work, each end had 1/4 to 1/2" of clearance over-top of the pipes, just had to muscle them in.

My personal best recommendation, just unbolt the downpipes off the manifolds and drop it down so you can install it easier, and guarantee yourself no leaks. I never 100% got rid of those leaks.
