I live in Orange County. I've seen enough tickets written (not to myself, but in general) to know how the police work down here. You can't say screw the police, because not ALL of them are as big of ****s as they're talked up to be. They're just doing their job, some just let things slide more than others.

lol man i know all about getting pulled over because of looks.. i've been driving here in abq for 3 years and NEVER been randomly pulled over...
my buddy (who is more or less of the latino/thug descent) was driving my truck and i was screwing around arguing on the phone with the pizza place and we get pulled over on what the cop called he saw was "aggressive acceleration" i started laughing when he found out it was my truck and he let us "go".....

Let's just clear a few things up.
California has the California Air Resources Board. The C.A.R.B. issues what is known as an Executive Order Number for modifications which it has approved. The C.A.R.B. E.O.# is what is printed onto stickers (which go under the hood) to show that performance parts are "50 States Legal".
In California, The California Highway Patrol, or any other law enforcement agency, may inspect any vehicle on a public road, at any time, to ensure that the vehicle is in full compliance with the Vehicle Code. If you choose to modify your vehicle with "off road parts" such as exhaust systems with long tube headers and removal of catalytic converters, then I would suggest that you keep these vehicles off the road. California Vehicle Code 38025(d) A motor vehicle identified pursuant to Section 38010 may be towed upon a highway, but not driven.
