ok i think somethings wrong.....

when i get on it my truck sounds like it has straights on it, it has true dual flowmaster 10 series, magnaflow hi flow cats and a H pipe, 3.5"x18" tips, but when it gets up to about 2300 rpm's the left side starts the straight sound, then about 2800 the right side does it and then its loud as hell and i get pulled over for exessive noise, anyways, anything i can do to fix this or just keep goin?

It would certainly take the straight tone away, but calm it down maybe too much. The X pipe could quiet it down on idle, and moderatly on average accell, and past 3000rpm the straight sound would re-appear.

Maybe a bigger gear ratio to improve low end? That way you wouldn't break 2300rpm on average take offs.

Thats the signature sound of High Flow cats, congrats, now you know why I despise them, not to mention a waste of money. High flows can even ruin a good sounding maggie system, but oh well, you already went in the hole on them. Get a x-pipe and try that, but either the high flows or the flowbastard will have to go to get a nice, not so trashy sound back

Well of course I'm going to come across biased like Darren when I say put a pair of Maggies on there, but it's true. It should fix your problem, I've got Magnaflow True Duals, Magnaflow High Flow Cats and an X-Pipe, doesn't sound like straights at all. Check my sig to get an idea of her throaty rumble

replace the h-pipe with the x-pipe first. its the cheapest fix. if that doesnt work. look in to maggies or gears

X pipe will solve it then. My X pipe is pretty unique, two sides of pipe cut & welded together, the left bank flows to the right exhaust, the right bank flows to the left ehxaust, and standing behind it when it idles cold, the tone is dead even on both sides, but the left side may be a tad deeper toned.

haha hey man, i love the sound of maggies, i really do, but im not sure i want them on my truck, i like really loud, legal of course, and i like the rumble my 10 series give me, if darren would hurry and cut the 4 cats and put 2 hi flows on there, so i can get an idea about what my truck would sound like, i might consider them
