Need some help

Hello all, i recently had a Original 40 Flowmaster SI/DO with 2.5" piping put on my 2008 F-150 (4.6L v8). I have clips at the bottom of my signature of what it sounds like. Now that my birthday is coming up im going to be getting intrested in some new mods for my truck. I was just wondering what Air intake yall would recommend for my 4.6L engine. Also is there any mods that i could put on my truck to make it more louder than it is atm.

Thanks

I'm a fan of S&B, have a 3" S&B CAI on my 4.6L, don't have a single complaint.

As for loudness, very best bet is to install high flow cats, that'll add quite a bit of sound. You could dump the exhaust, that'll make it louder too, but probably not enough. How long have you had the muffler? They'll get louder with time. At least my maggie sure did!

Yeah, give it a couple thousand miles. It took my flowmaster super44 about 8000 miles before it stopped getting louder. High flow cats will add a lot of sound too.

Well i currently have a Original 40 Flowmaster SI/DO with stock cats. It seems like sometimes when i start up its louder and then other times its quieter than it usually is. Is there any reason or explaination of why this happens
