Well the first quote I got for dual 40s was around $800. They are full of it ,so I am going to talk to the guy that did my cats and see what he can do.

Heres the most accurate video I could find showing the difference between a single muffler and true dual system.

Truck on left, si/do 40, truck on right, true dual 40s.

Alright I think I know what I am going to do. I am going to go 2.5in dual bullets with an xpipe into 4in tips. Should I get the shoip to fab me an xpipe or should I buy one?

Sounds good man. The Magnaflow X pipe is all stainless and great flowing, worth the price, but I'm happy with my shop bent X pipe. It probably doesn't perform as good as the Magnaflow one but it was free and does the balancing job.

Be careful though some places might want to sneak a price on the X pipe fabrication. Mine was free cause i'm friends with my exhaust guy and he convinced me into it over the H pipe.

Well the Magnaflow one is $80, pretty high up there. A shop bent one if anything should be $30 added in. Ask you shop what they would do it for.

i've heard alot of trucks with the 40 originals and i personally love the sound of flowmaster but i do have to say i'm pretty sure the single setup i've got is louder than any flowmaster i've heard
