baby magna flow

i got a 2000 ext cab f150 5.4 with a magna flow exhaust...i realize that magna flow isnt designed to be the loudest thing on the block but quite frankly, it is WAY too quiet......how can i make it louder?

Cut the two large cats off and leave the two pre cats, same effect as highflows and ALOT cheaper

Well as I've learned here recently, two high flow maggie cats, approx $55 each, cutting out old ones and welding up new, $200. So less than $300 for the parts and install, then the scrap metal place said they'd give me $90 EACH for my 4 old cats. It's kind of like a "sponsorship" from the scrap metal place, lol, they're paying me to install high flows.

The resonator would be the two precats, they are not resonators, they are cataylsts, so they will "treat" the exhaust enough to keep the CEL off, and by taking the larger cats off and leaving the two small precats it will make the truck louder, but still emissions compliant and legal.

Hi-flow cats part # 94006 will work. $67 each from performance curve, or performance peddler.

Go to a backwoods shop, they will do it, just explain that the truck has 4 cats and you only need 2, and they should be able to do it.
