straight pipe tip

straight pipe tip

so ive been running straight pipes for a while now and its dumped under the bed. im going to get a tip welded on tomorrow. have any of yall that have done this noticed a difference in sound with the tip on?

With the tailpipe you will probably have more peace and quietness in cab, and a clearer toned exhaust, and will give a more metallic deep sound, depending on the tip specs. Length and outlet diameter play a big factor.

i think its like a 3.5" or 4" tip and is about 18" long. it used to be on the truck back in the day when i had a flowmaster

well i had it welded on today, it sounds alot better than before. its got a clearer tone and sounds louder.
