Looks like f150fella08 pretty much covered it all for ya. I would keep the 3.5"s. The sound change is very minimal, 4" will have a slightly more metallic sound.

true duals definitely will not set a CEL off, so I dont know what that shop is trying to convince you to do. My exhaust feels exactly like stock, my low end torque is still there, slight push on the gas i move, slightly harder i snap my neck still, 2.5" true duals with Magnaflows on the stock tune So if your still looking to go with true duals, and hopefully with Magnaflow mufflers, just buy the mufflers, and tell the guy you want 2.5" true duals ( X or H piped ) and mandrel bent.

I was driving alot today, and in a few parking lots, twice today when I started the truck people looked over at it, now its starting to get attention!

well man im glad to hear people are noticin you lol just wait till you get those 4 cats off and put the 2 hi flow's on there be doin some real head turnin then lol the only head turnin i do is cops cuz they know its not legal lol

and as far as H or X pipe..i have a H pipe myself and all that really does is help sound out..it just evens out the exhaust flow to where its even goin into the mufflers givin it a more agressive sound X pipe is more for performance...idk how they work i guess they just kinda push together when they meet..not real sure on X's

Yeah I personally like the sound of an H pipe better. I had that done on my old Silverados duals. This time around my exhaust guy was delighted to see I brought Magnaflows in to be installed and when I asked if he could fabricate an H pipe where I was pointing at, he suggested I go with the X, and I always liked the H pipe due to the deeper sound it does, but it doesn't balance quite as well as the X pipe does. He sore by it that I would be happier with the X pipe and I said sure make it X instead, and he did so for free. I'm pretty happy with it, though with the H pipe it would sound a bit louder on idle, but as I have stated over and over i'm getting hi-flows for sound volume sooner or later. I love the WOT sound the X pipe helps with. And unlike my Silverado's H piped duals, both of my exhaust tips give the same amount of air pressure, and the same sound volume. Chevys right pipe was louder than the left and had a higher tone, as the left was a little quieter.

yep expensive it is dude..ive poured about 700 bucks into my ehxuast and i still lack hi flows and headers! headers will come just not sure of the brand..built said his were like 800 bucks cant go that route! i was thinkin flowtech or pace setter but he said those arent so good cuz they will rust out or crack..i want some that will last and i wont have to replace them..when i get my next check hi flows will be on the way!!!
