Yeah $250 each thats way too much. Im hoping it wont set the CEL off. If so, i'll find a way to get it off. Autozone should be able to do it, hopefully with no b/s.

No problem man glad to help out. Oh yeah definitely, almost any Magnaflow would be deeper than any Flowmaster. When the guy finished installing my F150's system at the shop and started it for the first time, I was amazed at that deep growl it gave. I expected there to be some rasp, but nope, I almost have a true dualed Roush Off-Road system Just a bit quieter and deeper sounding.

The Flowmasters are supposed to have a louder sound rather than deeper, while Magnaflow is the exact opposite. Though the deep sound is loud, it can be heard. I have about 200 miles on my exhaust now and I can sorta tell its still breaking in & loudening up. I can also hear the dual rumble in cab more now all of a sudden, that 1600 - 2000rpm range rumble I mean. When I got the exhaust installed you couldn't hear I at all inside ( disapointed me, but put the window down, there it was lol ) But i'm hearing it inside more, good sign

I would definetely say get exhaust before tires. Do your tires have 10k more miles in them? Keep rotating them and getting full life out, and enjoy a better sounding exhaust

ok. called the shop i go to for exhaust work today, very good place by the way. he said i cannot do true duels on my truck because it will cause a CEL and i will lose a ton of power. he said he will do it but if something happens its not on him. meinike even told me awhile back "a good way to open up these trucks is true duel system". and the shop told me over the phone that if i went with a larger tip like 4 instead of my 3.5 i have now, that i will get a little more osund from my current setup. is that true?

yea man meinike is right true duals open the truck up more and if you throw a X pipe on there you will gain some of that torque you will lose..so i hear idk much about x pipes...and yea if you put 4" tips on it, it will have more sound than the 3.5" tips cuz when you go from 2.5" pipe i believe to 4" tip it echos more off the tip than a 3.5 the bigger you go the more sound you get..but if you go to big say 5" or up then your gettin in to the tacky mode..and no one wants that..unless you have a old truck with straights..then your good

notice yes. you will notice a SLIGHT difference in sound but since you already have perfectly fine (unless their broken or rustin out) 3.5" tips..id save my money and use my 3.5's i wanted to do 4" tips on my truck but i had perfectly fine 3.5's so i saved about 70 bucks and used the 3.5's again..thats what id do man..you wont notice THAT much change in sound..id save the money on tips for these tires you want, use the 3.5's again and get you some new 285's when you get the money
