tip questions????

Hey all. I have an 08 f150 and was looking at the 12" long magnaflow tips. My question is this.....do i need the 2.5 or 3" inlet size tip. I measured my stock exhaust pipe and it is 2.75" so I am a little baffled.......it wasnt 2.5 like I expected it to be.

The shop can scale it down to 2.5". These trucks should not have no larger than a 2.5" exhaust. So keep the tip inlet 2.5". Your best off getting a new tailpipe put in anyways.

Whatever you want they will do. Any specific way/distance you want the tips mounted at they'll take care of it.

My stock tailpipe was 2.75" too so I would say all of them are. Thats why I say get a new tailpipe anyways so its all 2.5" Will have a little better scavaging.

Hello

You could use our clamp on tips too. We have one that fit 2 3/4" to 3" Tail Pipe its a 4" Single Wall that is 12" in length. Its Polished 304SS. Its a very nice looking tip. Here is the link http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=7718
