gibson headers $150 good buy?

I can get my hands on a set of gibson headers for my 02 5.4 Screw for a 150 bucks would i be dumb not to buy them, i have to get my manifold leak fixed anyway why not put headers on right? just need some opinions. If i do the headers i want to go with the mac side exit cat back system. my other question is do i leave the rest of the exhaust alone or should i go with high flow cats.

Are they shorty's or longtubes? if there shortys they will bolt right up to your stock exhuast but many people dont see gains from shortys. Longtubes gain you power. If there longtubes you will need to redo the rest with hi-flow cats if there shortys they will bolt right up to your stock exhuast pipe.

yes they are shorty's, you would think you would be able to tell a difference. gibson claims 24 hp and even more torque?

Yes,,,you would think...lol
But,,,if you believe all the claims,,,you might as well get a Tornado/ 2 throttle body spacers and an electric supercharger.
You should pic up about 80 HP with all that.

But,,,if you need new manifolds. Then $150 is a good price for the headers. And they will work with all your stock exhaust.
But,,if your looking for power,,,long tubes is the way to go.

I had the Gibson's and sold them for $150 and spent 700 on long tubes.

only if your OEM manifolds need replaced. Save your money otherwise.
