Need help and pics please!

I have a 06 f150 fx4 supercrew 5.4, I use the truck for hauling my quad and back and forth to work. I have a k&n air filter and just ordered an Edge programmer (I absolutely hate the tranny shifts in this truck). Anyway I am looking at getting an exhaust for it, I want throaty but not loud at all. I think that the magnaflow is a good bet but their site has no pics of them. I want it to exit out the side for sure I think in dual......do you guys have some installed pics of the single or dual setup? And am I looking at the right exhaust for me?

The Magnflow sounds perfect for your application. 18" or longer. I have a 18" SI/SO, side exit w/ a Silverline 3.5" slashtip. It's pretty darn quiet, IMO. Not bad on the wallet either.

More pics in my gallery.

So that is the single tip, exiting in front of the rear tire? Should I be looking for a dual or single outlet? I want to have it exiting out the side behind the rear tire!

Have them exit however you want!

I was mainly commenting on the muffler.

Buy a 18" Magnaflow muffler and your tips and have a shop install it. Dual outlet tip or single tip thats all up to you man, mostly just looks. I would vote for the dual though, buy a SI/DO muffler and have the shop run the pipes, and buy two exhaust tips, and have it installed. $92 for the muffler from Summit Racing, you can buy the tips which you will find here, search through and add on the list your preferences, just make sure tip inlets are 2.5", tips will run ya about $60 - $100 depending what kind you get ( I myself prefer Magnaflows tips ) and a hair over $100 for it all installed.

Thanks for the help guys, I think I might just order a complete cat back from mangaflow. I did some u tube searching and really like the look and sound of the si/do on the side behind the tire. Thanks FoMoCoFan17 for the pics and leading me the right way on the muffler.

You should look into MBRP. They have a nice sound.
The fit is great.
