Since I'm the only one.....
I personally think exhaust tips give trucks a good look, along with giving it a further echoing deep tone. I loved the way my Silverado's tips looked. First truck I ever had side exit tips on, sounded great, heard it in the cab more, and it flowed very well with the rest of the trucks chrome ( wheels, nerf bars, bumpers ). They were 4x12 Magnaflow SS rolled. My F150 will be getting the same but in 18" length, and the same side exit style.

You can get your trucks exhaust dumped over axle but you may regret the rust that will happen under the bed years later. Magnaflow does make black exhaust tips too, go ahead and grab a set of those and exit them however desired. Gothed out trucks look awesome, gotta love all black.

Well the Ford has stock exhaust, so I cant use that for example yet, hopefully next month! Then you'll never hear of the C word again

My F150 will be getting part same thing almost, #35117 2.5" inlet, 18" length, 4" outlet to exit the same.

A truck with duals and no tips looks like an "unfinished" or very cheap exhaust...
A nice set of tips really makes the truck standout and look tougher, IMO. Makes the exhaust A LOT more "eye catching" if you have a nice look (big shiney tips) with a good sound.
