Looking for new exhaust

So I am looking at doing my exhaust and want to dump it out the side behind the cab on both sides should I do a oval exaust (flowmaster, magnaflow, ect) or straight through (cherry bomb) I don't want it really laud but somthing that says I have a truck with a real engine in it. Is it going to make a nagitve effect if I do not conact the two pipes?

well oval? you mean the muffler shape? Flowmaster is chambered and Magnaflow is straight through & steel wool packed. Cherrybomb is chambered, as for their glasspacks I dont know but glasspacks sound awful on V8s.

The Magnaflow 14" or 18" muffler might suit you. 14 is a bit louder ofcoarse, 18 is more calm and mellow as stock until you give it some throttle.
