MBRP sounds better for diesels, Their gas engine kits dont sound that great.

409 stainless is good, it will minor rust on the outside but it wont rust away.

Huh? I've had Roush Off Road and Magnaflow, and I think MBRP may have pushed to the front of the pack. I'll let you know... I'm still reviewing and writing my report.

The Cool Duals are available in aluminized, 409, and 304. The 304 is a bit more, but mirrored and won't rust.

i love my SISO. very deep with a lot of rumble. i never cared for the raspy sound some catbacks make. mine fit like a glove and the materials were top notch.

Throttle Body Spacers do not have any gains at all for fuel injected engines. Run a search on that and see what you come up with. They only help Carbed engines.

I agree with the above. I have the SISO and love it. I have used others in the past and had a MBRP on my last diesel and liked it so I gave them a try on my 150 and have no regrets.

Throttle body spacer in.

Got spacer and intake in today. Course can't say if gains are for the good. Notice the giddy-up when I tromp the gas pedal though. Try with next fill to see if any difference in fuel consumption. Impressed so far with the exhaust system. Didn't like the duals that come out the rear of the truck. Happy that MBRP made system that comes out beind the wheels. Will keep all updated with good.. or bad gains/losses and performance of this system.

Well I'm still reviewing my MBRP setup, but I think I've suffered the loss on the low end with MBRP some talked about here on this forum. I don't really care as I've got some tuning in the works, but I have noticed a fair amount of what I think is drone at 55mph through the open rear slider as a result of the loss. Nothing a tune can't take care of, right?

There is no mistaking the MBRP super deep growl. I drove next to a guy neck and neck two nights ago that had the Roush and I'll say that there is a definite difference. The MBRP is really deep and mellow. Sometimes it stinks that my AF1 intake drowns out the MBRP on a stiff accelleration.

I still think the quality edge goes too the MBRP, and the MBRP tips certainly prevail. I like not having to see that cross pipe behind the rear axle that the Roush has.

My main reason for going with the MBRP was that I didn't want rear-facing exits to bounce off my travel trailer... and the fact that I have much experience with MBRP's diesel systems. I'll be able to give a or a after this weekend of towing the flying brick. Stay tuned...

Air Intake/Exhaust

Is the wistle from the CAI of the throttle body spacer or is it both?? I get lots of vroom vroom with heavy acceleration. Low end pick-up is a little better than stock was but doing 50 and trompin' it has instant giddy-up. Next thing I am going to do is the Edge Evolution. Any comments from anyone on this. Done a few diesels with the Edge and heard good things and have not had anyone come back with problems. Rock on

Probably is the spacer. CAIs whistle sometimes when somethings loose though, but I wold imagine you double checked it all after install.

I installed the MBRP as part of Troyers stage 1.I dont feel I lost any bottom end power-Which I feel the truck had hardly any to lose anyway.I just got rid of my 05 F-150 that had the siso Magnaflow system.I like the MBRP much better-Sounds great,Not Too loud and no cabin drone.I have already reccomended MBRP to others.

Does the MBRP have any rap to it? I'm looking for a little more low end rumble noise at idle, and when under light to moderate accel, but not rapping if I really get on it.

Are you guys talking about a single tailpipe, and how big, 3"?

I install the 304 stainless cool duals. I do not like the sound at all. Drone at 50 to 60 MPH or so. Can not hear it at idle. You really need to get on it to hear it.
I had a banks on my 05 and it sounded much better. Nice growl at idle and at slow take off.
If I were you I would either look into Magnaflow or the Roush and Banks. Maybe a custom, but stay away from the MBRP !!!!!
I can not wait to get rid of this exhaust.
IMHO !!
