I had a banks on my 05 and it sounded much better. Nice growl at idle and at slow take off.
If I were you I would either look into Magnaflow or the Roush and Banks. Maybe a custom, but stay away from the MBRP !!!!!
I can not wait to get rid of this exhaust.
IMHO !!
Wow! The verdict is in. After 12k on mine, I'll say I absolutely love the MBRPexhaust. It is extremely deep toned, and sounds very tough. My Roush O/R on my 2007 sounded great, but alot louder and more rappy - not Flowmaster rappy, though. The Magnaflow I had at first on my 2007 couldn't hold a candle to this MBRP setup IMHO. Sorry you don't like it pldjr.

Awesome. I just ordered the cool duals side exit system for my 04. Any tips on removing the stock system and putting this one on?

Ya know, I think I actually had issues because of the 3" Airforce One with a stock program. I'm thinking I could have lost a little in the towing department using the stock program with the 3" AF1 and the MBRP. But, all in all, I'd put the same exhaust on in a heartbeat again. Of course, I run tuned so it's not a big deal if I did lose some. The more I drive it, the more I am sure the big killer is the 20" wheels with those heavy Michelin LT load range E tires. Every day I start my truck up, I am even more glad I went MBRP. It is THAT deep and grumbly. It sounds like a very big block.

Got my MRBP Cool Duals side exit system on today after work. Only took about an hour and it sounds awesome! Don't know why so many people are saying this system sucks. I think it has a nice rumble and there is no drone. For those who want to hear sound bites, someone has some on YouTube. Just search "MRBP".
