Take them all out and put in two high flow cats. Or you can just take out the rear cats, don't touch the front ones.

Hey I am looking to do my exhaust and I liked how yours sounds. Did you buy a kit or put it together yourself? Is it true dual?

Buy the Hi-Flow cats, have the 4 stock cats removed and have them two installed.

I just bought everything and took it to the muffler shop, I bought all the parts from performancepeddler.com . To be honest with you it probably won't cost that much in the end if you take your stock cats to a scrap yard. I know people are getting crazy money for their stock cats. You can buy two high flow cats for what some scrap yards will pay for your four stock ones. Some people do just take out the rear cats and put in a straight pipe there but I would rather do the high flow cats. Save your money it is well worth it. Check out performancepeddler.com and check with a local scrap yard to see what they will buy your cats for and you should have an idea of what it will cost to do the high flows. I have no drone inside the cab it was a great mod to do.

So you just bought 2 universal high flow cats and 2 universal mufflers and let the shop do the rest?

Buying all of the parts and then taking them to a custom exhaust shop is the BEST route. You can get seamless stainless pipe, bent to your specs. And have them WELD it. When you buy a cat back system, you are just installing it with clamps. So, getting the same thing, WELDED, *should* cost less than any cat back system you can order. That is just my opinion though.

If you think of it, you will not have to EVER replace it again, if you make sure your muffler is stainless as well. That will vouch for the price alone. I haven't heard of a high flow cat ever getting clogged as of yet.

But definitely shop around your home town and see what they are willing to price it as. Also keep in mind, to cut costs, you may need to cut the cats out yourself. Many shops will not cut them out, saying it is against the law. So, keep that in mind as well.

No. Rear cats do not affect it at all. They are 3/4 resonators 1/4 cats. The rear cats are the real cats.
